In July 2023, Cat and Brice spent a week 2 hours northwest of Las Vegas, NV, at the National Criticality Experiments Research Center (NCERC) conducting measurements on various nuclear material assemblies along with two other NNSA NA-22 consortium University teams (UIUC, UM). In May, Cat gave a presentation “Optimal Detector Configuration for Nondestructive Assay of Fresh Nuclear Fuel” at SORMA 2023 in Ann Arbor, MI.
